Warranty and Return Policy (for systems and hardware products)
Most
products may be returned for replacement, credit, or refund. All
returned products must be accompanied by an RMA number if shipped. An
RMA number is valid for fourteen (14) days. Packages returned without
an RMA number clearly displayed on the outside box will be refused. To
obtain an RMA number you can fill in the contact form , or call (613) 212-1410. Shipping and insurance charges must be prepaid by the customer and are non-refundable.
All
products, be it defective or non-defective, must be returned in
original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank
warranty cards, manuals, any other item or accessory provided by the
manufacturer and a copy of the original invoice. Returned orders with
these items missing will be refused.
Refunds are not available
on systems, opened software packages, internal
peripheral products (such as RAM, video cards, etc.) or consumable
products (such as printer toner cartridges). If defective, these
products may be exchanged for the identical product within thirty (30)
days of receipt of purchase.
Refund amounts will be based on the currently listed price on our website or the invoiced price, whichever is lower.
All non-defective products returned for refund will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Peripherals
All
retail products have a thirty day warranty with Precise-ITC, Inc.
Manufacturers warranties, which vary with each manufacturer, will apply
after the thirty day precise-itc.com warranty. Manufacturer warranties
are generally one to three years. All OEM products have a one year
warranty with precise-itc.com.
Complete Systems (A complete
system consists of products which allow for a complete installation of
an operating system. Monitor, keyboard, mouse or other input device is
not required. Damage caused by excessive dust, lightning strike, abuse
and/or lack of maintance will not be covered)

Premium: 2 Years Parts and 2 Years Labour
Refund Policy (for GPL/BSD software CD/DVD set)
- Refund
can be made within 14 days of any software purchase. We no longer
charge re-stocking fee; however, paypal.com may charge transaction fee
on the refund, which is out of our control. Shipping and handling fee
is non-refundable.
- To refund a software CD/DVD set, you need to fill in the contact form
, or call (613) 212-1410 within 14 days of purchase. Then, we will let
you know by email with a RMA number if you are
eligible to get a refund. And you can ship the software package and
write the RMA number on the shipping box.
- We only process return
software package with a RMA number. Therefore, please do not ship the product
back without getting a RMA number from us.
- Once we receive the
software back, we will refund you the payment of the purchase minus the
shipping and handling charge.
- Refund is only possible if the software package is return in original selling condition.
Return and replacement policy (for GPL/BSD Software CD/DVD set)
- We
replace any defective CD media within 1 year from the purchase date.
Customers pay for all shipping and handling cost.
- To return any defective CD media, you need to fill in the contact form
, or call (613) 212-1410. Then, we will let you know by email if you
are eligible for return with a return tracking number (RTN).
- Once
we receive the defective CD media, we will examine the defect. If the
defect is not caused by abuse or natural disaster, we will replace the
defective product with a new one*. If we cannot find the same software
due to obsolete or shortage, we will return an equivalent software or
newer version instead.
- We will let the customer know the
shipping and handling cost. Once the customer pays the shipping and
handling cost for return, we will ship the replacement back to customer
as soon as possible.
Refund policy (for e-Services)
- Refund for any fee applied to any e-Services (e.g. mirroring services, DNS services, E-mail services, monitoring serivces) is not available. However, there is a trial period which is FREE* for you to try any of the e-Services before you purchase.
- Setup fee and professional service fee applied during the trial period for all e-Services are not refundable.
- All e-Services are purchased in form of subscription. Subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period unless you notify us in advance. If you want to cancel your subscription to any of the e-Services, you must notify us by e-mail or fill out the contact form with at least 14 days before the end of the subscription period.
- If you want to cancel any e-Services before the end of the subscription period (except during the trial period), you can still use your e-Services before purchased subscription period ends. You are free to choose an earlier termination date. However, refund or partial refund of the unused period is not available.
Please note that Paypal may charge handling/service fee when we apply a
refund
via Paypal, which is out of our control. To avoid Paypal service fee,
customer may choose to refund in form of store credit for future
purchase. All refunds are subjected to
25% re-stocking fee at any time.
We reserve the right to change our return and replacement policy at any time without notice.
